Additionally, True-shooting percentage (TS) is a metric that considers scoring efficiency, accounting for threes and free throws. The league average TS before Thursday's games was 57.0%.
Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins: Not graded due to absence.Kelly Oubre Jr.: C-. Oubre Jr. struggled to find his rhythm, shooting just 5-of-16 from the field and 1-of-5 from three-point range. His TS was only 42.9%, well below average.
Draymond Green: C+. While Green did tally eight assists and nine rebounds, his shooting was subpar, going 1-of-6 from the field. He did manage a decent TS of 60.0%, however.
James Wiseman: C. Wiseman had a modest showing, scoring nine points and grabbing four rebounds. He shot 4-of-8 from the field, but his TS was below average at 47.7%.
Kevon Looney: C+. Looney had a decent night, scoring six points and grabbing eight rebounds. His shooting was efficient, going 3-of-4 from the field, resulting in a TS of 75.0%.
Jordan Poole: B-. Poole provided some much-needed scoring off the bench, leading the team with 19 points. He went 8-of-16 from the field and 2-of-7 from three-point range, with a TS of 58.1%.
Eric Paschall: B-. Paschall also had a decent showing off the bench, scoring 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting. He had a solid TS of 66.2%.
Damion Lee: C. Lee struggled to find his shot, going 2-of-8 from the field and 1-of-5 from three-point range. His TS was a poor 37.5%.
Conclusion:
Overall, the Warriors were outmatched without Curry and Wiggins, with several players failing to meet expectations. Poole and Paschall were bright spots off the bench, but the team will need a better performance from its starters if they hope to win in the future.
